Cantona site and Hacienda

Cantona is an amazing archaeological site, well known for its beautiful landscape and an ancient urban development. We know that there was a control access to this powerful city, due to a complex system of internal streets. The archaeological site of Cantona has the largest number of ballgame courts in Mesoamerica and it is surrounded by semi-desert vegetation and lakes worthy of visiting. Enjoy a meal at a Hacienda and learn about the rural life in Mexico.

Trip Itinerary

8:00 AM – Pick up at Hotel
Meet your guide at your Hotel.
9:30 AM – Arrival at Cantona
Explore the archaeological site and visit the local museum. The tour consists of an approximately 2-hour hike, involving a moderate incline with some steeper sections. We will walk through a cobbled trail, including some steps for the pyramids.
12:30 PM Visit a Hacienda
Enjoy a delicious Mexican meal with Adrian´s family. Take a look into the house, including the 60 feet height water well, the abandoned jail, the brick kiln, and learn more about the boom years of the Haciendas.
5.30 PM – Shuttle Dropoff
Back to Puebla city / Hotel
